Guest Handbook

This is a smoke-free home. Please refrain from smoking inside or near any entryways. If you’d like to smoke, please do so away from the building, and dispose of cigarette butts properly. There will be acquired charges for any additional cleaning due to smoking.

We love animals, but for the comfort and safety of all guests, we are unable to accommodate pets due to allergy concerns. Thank you for understanding!

Please respect our neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum from 10:30 PM - 8:00 AM. We want everyone to enjoy their stay and get a good night’s sleep!

If you need a different check-in or check-out time, just let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

We ask that you don’t host parties or events at the property. If you’re planning a gathering with friends or family, please be mindful of noise and the property’s condition. Any noise complaint or additional cleaning will result in a fine.

Please treat our home with the same care and respect you would your own. If anything gets damaged, please let us know right away so we can fix it. Accidents happen, and we appreciate your honesty!

We love our 1900s home and love to be able to share it with you. Please please PLEASE flush only things that should go in the toilet - We are talkin’ things that leave your body and toilet paper ONLY. Sanitary products, “dude wipes”, “flushable wipes”, baby wipes…please dispose of in the garbages provided.

With only one restroom, it could make for a really bad time for both you and us both.

Please dispose of trash and recyclables in the appropriate bins provided. If you need additional bags or instructions, feel free to ask! We encourage eco-friendly practices during your stay.

Feel free to use the kitchen, we just ask that you clean up after yourself. Please wash dishes, wipe down counters, and take care of any spills promptly.

You will find most everything you need in the cupboards :)

Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight. If you would like to have visitors during the day, please let us know in advance, and we’ll be happy to accommodate.

Please make sure to lock all doors and windows when you leave the property, for your safety and security. If you have any issues with the locks or keys, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Setting the alarm is easy - just hit “Away” on the Simply Safe keypad and leave promptly. When re-entering the home from “away” mode, you have 30 seconds to turn off the alarm using the code provided to you through airBnB. Just type in your passcode and the alarm will turn off.

To set alarm when you go to sleep, hit “home”. This will set the doors AND WINDOWS to automatically trigger an alarm when opened. There will not be any delay.

If the alarm goes off and we cannot contact you, the police will be sent to the home.

To turn the alarm off, again, just enter your code into the keypad.

We really enjoy our neighborhood and neighbors alike, and hope you the chance to meet some of them!

We ask that you be considerate of our neighbors and respect the shared spaces around the home. Please avoid loud noises, parking in unauthorized areas, littering, or leaving personal belongings in public spaces.

Please only use appliances for their intended purposes, and be sure to turn them off when not in use. If you need instructions on how to use anything, just let us know!

In case of an emergency or any urgent issues, please reach out to us directly. We’re available by phone or message at any time.

We hope you enjoy your stay here and want to ensure you have everything needed to do so.

We have provided hangers in each closet for your use, as well as a hand steamer to keep you looking sharp.

There are robes available in the bathroom for your use. Please leave used robes hung with used towels to be washed.

You will find a bath bomb and face mask available for you to use for a relaxing soak. Please enjoy as a complimentary gift from us to you!

If you happened to forget anything, you can find essential toiletries in the bathroom cabinet. Please help us by taking only what you need. This will help ensure we can continue to offer this for our guests.

There are three cameras on the property - two external and one internal.

The external cameras are always running and record at any time triggered by movement.

The internal camera is only triggered when the alarm delay is activated (beeping) OR the alarm is triggered (to see who is entering the home).
This is the only time the internal camera is active.

This practice is put in place to ensure the safety and security of our guests and property. Thank you for your understanding.
